My Internship at AtkinsRéalis is over...
You don’t realize how much you’ve grown until you look back at the version of yourself who walked in on Day 1.
I still remember my first day like it was yesterday—walking into the office felt like I had stepped onto a movie set. Rows of cubicles, everyone hard at work, it felt surreal.
✨ As one of the youngest interns this summer, I:
• Drove collaboration across 6+ cross-functional teams (Reactor Components, Tooling, Commercial, Procurement, QA)
• Delivered 100+ executive-ready deliverables to SNN, advancing execution of the $3B Cernavoda C1 refurbishment
• Co-led bi-weekly stakeholder meetings with global partners across multiple project scopes
• Led company-wide AI adoption initiatives through workshops, presentations, research, and strategic decision-making
Everyone always says, “The team feels like family.” But this team... REALLY felt like family.
🙏 Ginny Ly, Tamer Ghalil, and Brian Smith — you were the best mentors and managers I could’ve asked for.
👥 Ifrah Iqbal, Lavinia Banica, and Ayush Banerjee — we toured the office together on Day 1 and are now lifelong friends (among many others...).
I blinked, and the summer is gone...
One of the best experiences of my life — and one I’ll never forget.
Now... back to school ✌️
