"Tell me everything about your life from when you were little."
"I want to hear it all."
That was the first thing Vitalii Dodonov asked me when we sat down.
Within minutes, he'd dug into the deepest parts of who I am and gave me more to think about than I'd had in months. The team he's built at Stan, the mission behind it...he's proof that obsession over the right thing pays off.
Crazy part? I almost missed this opportunity entirely.
I had planned to stay home for the weekend and grind LeetCode for some upcoming Big Tech interviews 👀
But here's what I keep learning: it's always the events you almost skip that end up changing your whole life.
This hackathon was different. Building at the intersection of AI and content creation...I'm genuinely convinced you'll see two or more of these projects become funded startups soon. If you're looking for project ideas, this space is wide open.
Some highlights:
➤ Starred in Dennis Chen's Hackathon Series (sorry, we didn't win 😂)
➤ Finally met Julia Fedorin and Tim Kubsch IRL: both absolute legends
➤ Drank 26+ kombuchas. They're definitely putting something in those.
Thank you to the entire Stan team for having me.
For the first time in a while, I genuinely don't know what comes next.
And I'm okay with that.
With love,
Sammy ❤️
P.S. If you start seeing photos of me sleeping from various angles circulating on LinkedIn...that isn't me. 😭📸
